A few months ago, I was chatting with some friends about Bukoba. You know, Bukoba—the land we’re all so proud of, the place that feels like home whether you’re living there or halfway across the globe. It was one of those late-night conversations that got deep, fast.
We started talking about how Bukoba used to be this vibrant, thriving place. Back in the day, it had one of the highest per capita incomes in Tanzania. People were proud to call it home, and it had this incredible sense of community. But now? Things have changed. A lot.
